We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to support planned production network implementation and maintenance activities. The role involves hands-on execution of approved maintenance activities, MOP execution, pre/post validation, production changes and troubleshooting across Cisco routing and switching environments.

Key Responsibilities
Execute approved maintenance window activities on production Cisco network environments.
Execute MOPs, implementation procedures and change activities as per approved change plans.
Perform pre-maintenance and post-maintenance validation of network devices and services.
Implement production changes on Cisco routers and switches.
Work on Cisco Nexus switches across various series.
Troubleshoot routing, switching, interface, connectivity and device-health issues during maintenance activities.
Validate routing adjacencies, interface status, device health,



logs and management reachability.
Support rollback and recovery procedures when required.
Follow change-management processes and implementation checklists.
Coordinate with project leads, customers, vendors and technical teams during maintenance windows.
Document implementation results, issues, exceptions and follow-up actions.
Participate in rotational shifts and planned production maintenance activities.

Mandatory Skills
6–8 years of relevant networking experience.
Robust hands-on experience with
Cisco Routing & Switching
.
Experience with
MOP execution
and production implementation.
Hands-on experience with
pre-maintenance and post-maintenance validation
.
Hands-on experience with
Cisco Nexus switches – any series
.
Experience executing
production change activities
.
Solid production troubleshooting skills.
Positive understanding of BGP, OSPF, VLAN, STP, EtherC
