Manufacturing Consultant — Medical Devices (Greenfield Project, Uttar Pradesh)

TECHNOMED, a Lucknow-based medical device distribution and healthcare services company supplying government hospitals across UP, is setting up a greenfield manufacturing facility (capex range ₹10–15 Cr for machinery and equipment) as part of its transition into an integrated manufacturer-distributor ahead of a planned IPO.

We're looking for an experienced Manufacturing Consultant to work closely with leadership through product selection, project planning, and execution readiness.

What you'll do:
Help identify and shortlist the right medical device product(s) to manufacture, based on market demand, margin profile, regulatory pathway, and fit with TECHNOMED's existing distribution network
Lead or closely guide preparation of a bankable Detailed Project Report (DPR) — technical feasibility, capex/opex planning, plant & machinery specification, production planning, and financial modeling (IRR, NPV, DSCR,



sensitivity analysis)
Advise on manufacturing technology and equipment selection, supplier evaluation, and plant engineering for a ₹10–15 Cr machinery investment
Guide regulatory compliance planning (CDSCO / Medical Device Rules) for the manufacturing setup
Support site/location evaluation and coordination with industrial land authorities (UPSIDA)
Provide end-to-end consultancy from concept through to commissioning readiness

What we're looking for:
15+ years of experience in medical device manufacturing, with direct exposure to plant setup, production planning, and regulatory compliance in India
Prior experience preparing or overseeing bankable DPRs for lenders/financial institutions
Robust understanding of CDSCO regulatory framework and medical device manufacturing licensing
Track record of hands-on plant commissioning, not just advisory/theoretical experience
