Job Description: Product Designer

Studio 318 is a strategy-led design studio based out of Hyderabad. We journey with the client to build a cohesive brand ecosystem that effectively communicates with their target audiences across business touchpoints. Our designs are aesthetic, people-driven and authentic. Our collective background in design thinking and strength in building value-based brands allows us to articulate wide-ranging expressions through print, communication, packaging, websites and environmental graphics.

We're now looking for a product designer to help us bring that same rigour to physical objects — taking an idea from sketch to a manufacturable, ready-to-produce product.

What you'll do
Translate concepts into resolved 3D models (CAD / surface modelling)
Prototype using 3D printing — iterate quickly on form, fit and feel
Choose and spec materials, finishes and tolerances appropriate for the object and the price point




Prepare clean production files and specification sheets for vendors
Coordinate with manufacturing partners (ceramic, metal, plastics, wood — depending on the product) through sampling, correction and production
Sweat the details that make a product feel considered, not generic

You should have
Robust 3D modelling skills (Fusion 360, Rhino, SolidWorks, or equivalent)
Hands-on familiarity with 3D printing — you know what prints well and what doesn't
A working understanding of materials and manufacturing processes, and how to spec them
Comfort dealing directly with vendors and workshops — following up, correcting samples, holding quality
A portfolio that shows objects, not just renders — ideally things that have been made
Minimum 1 year experience

Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹480,000.00 per year
