The Application Engineer will act as a Project Manager & Technical lead/interface between customers, R&D;, testing labs, and manufacturing teams. The role involves supporting Project Management, product application, validation, and customization of filtration solutions (air intake systems, filters, and media) for OEM customers in automotive and off-highway sectors. This role is very crucial for Business growth and technology release in India market. Delay in hring will impact customer projects and prospects

Key Responsibilities
Customer Technical Interface
Understand customer requirements, specifications and support Sales to secure current businesses
Provide technical recommendations for filtration solutions
Support OEMs (e.g., Daimler Truck, Mahindra & Mahindra, JCB, Ashok Leyland, Escort, Sonalika) during development and validation stages
Handle technical queries, deviations, and field issues
Application Engineering & Product Development
Work on RFQs/SOR and selection of air cleaners, filters, and intake systems




Customize products based on application requirements (engine, workplace, space constraints)
Support current product development (NPD) and localization activities
Conduct design reviews and risk analysis (FMEA support)
Testing & Validation
Coordinate with lab for performance validation (dust holding capacity, efficiency, restriction, vibration, water ingestion, etc.)
Interpret test results and provide engineering conclusions
Cross-functional Coordination
Work closely with:
Sales to work on RFQs/SOR /New Opportunities
R&D; teams for design optimization
Manufacturing for feasibility and cost improvements
Quality for issue resolution and continuous improvement
Support VAVE activities to optimize cost without compromising performance
Field Support & Problem Solving
Investigating field failures and customer complaints
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Support on-site visits and cus
