Job Role: Software Testing with Playwright (JavaScript) Trainer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Software Testing with Playwright (JavaScript) Trainer to deliver a structured 12-week automation testing program for learners under the CapgeminiBarclays PMIS initiative.

The trainer will deliver classroom and hands-on sessions covering software testing fundamentals, JavaScript, Playwright, API testing, Git, CI/CD, automation frameworks, projects, and technical interview preparation.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver classroom and practical training on Software Testing, JavaScript, and Playwright.
Conduct hands-on labs, coding exercises, assessments, projects, and code reviews.
Train learners on API testing, Git, GitHub Actions/Jenkins, CI/CD, and automation frameworks.
Mentor learners through mini-projects and capstone projects.
Track learner performance, identify gaps, and provide remediation support.




Prepare learners for Capgemini technical interviews.
Maintain training quality, learner records, and reporting on LMS/TMS platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA.
2+ years hands-on automation experience using JavaScript or TypeScript.
Solid hands-on expertise in Playwright.
Robust knowledge of JavaScript, async/await, POM, fixtures, locators, assertions, network mocking, and parallel execution.
Experience in REST API testing, Git, CI/CD, GitHub Actions/Jenkins, and reporting tools such as Allure.
Minimum 2 years of technical training or mentoring experience.
Solid communication, facilitation, and classroom management skills.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred)
Selenium automation experience with exposure to Playwright.
ISTQB or equivalent certification.
BFSI / Financial Services project
