Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop and implement data processing pipelines for productive data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) tasks
Utilize advanced SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases
Design and implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure accuracy.
Apply machine learning algorithms for predictive modeling and pattern recognition
Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data storage, retrieval, and overall system performance
Contribute to the development and maintenance of data repositories and data warehousing solutions
Work closely with data architects to enhance data infrastructure
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and scripting tasks

Key Competencies:




Robust understanding of data structures, algorithms, and database management systems
Knowledge of statistical analysis, data visualization tools, hypothesis testing and regression analysis
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) for team-oriented coding
Familiarity with financial concepts and instruments, such as market data and trading
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their data services
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Conceptual clarity of containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
