Niraamaya is looking for a dedicated and responsible Kitchen Steward to support the culinary team by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation, and organization across the kitchen and back-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, equipment, and work areas.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dishwashing, storage, and back-of-house areas.
Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
Ensure proper segregation and disposal of kitchen waste.
Support the kitchen team during daily operations and service periods.
Maintain adequate availability of clean utensils and kitchen equipment.
Follow all hygiene, sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety standards.
Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly as per SOPs.
Assist with receiving, moving, and storing kitchen supplies when required.
Minimize water, chemical, and other resource wastage.
Report equipment defects, maintenance issues, or hygiene concerns to the supervisor.
Maintain a clean, organized,



and qualified working environment at all times.

Candidate Profile
Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward in a hotel, resort, restaurant, or professional kitchen is preferred.
Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and sanitation practices.
Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Reliable, disciplined, and hardworking with a positive attitude.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Willingness to work adaptable shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
Hospitality experience will be an advantage.
