Role Description
The Pricing Specialist is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive freight and logistics quotes for sea and air shipments across various container types.



The Pricing Specialist will analyze carrier tariffs, market rates, and customer requirements to develop cost-effective pricing solutions, while ensuring compliance with company policies and commercial guidelines. Daily tasks include coordinating with sales, operations, and carrier partners, maintaining pricing databases, tracking rate changes, and supporting tender and bid responses. The role also involves monitoring margin performance, identifying opportunities to improve profitability, and providing explicit, timely communication to internal stakeholders regarding rates and pricing strategies.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess robust analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret tariffs, rate sheets, and cost structures.
