Job Description
We are looking for a
Backend Developer with 4 years of experience
and solid hands-on expertise in
Node.js
to join our development team. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and REST APIs.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
Build robust RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
Design database schemas and implement efficient database queries.
Work with PostgreSQL / MySQL databases.
Implement authentication, authorization, and API security.
Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
Handle validation, error handling, logging, and performance optimization.
Develop background jobs, scheduled tasks, and asynchronous processes.
Debug and resolve development and production issues.
Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
Work closely with frontend developers, QA, UI/UX, and product teams.
Support backend deployments and production releases.
Required Skills
4 years of professional backend development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Node.js is mandatory.
Excellent knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript.
Solid experience with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks.
Strong understanding of REST API development.
Good experience with PostgreSQL / MySQL.
Strong understanding of SQL and database design.
Experience with JWT, authentication, and authorization.
Good understanding of Node.js asynchronous programming, Promises, and Event Loop.
Experience with Git and Git-based workflows.
Good understanding of HTTP, JSON, webhooks, and third-party API integrations.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Positive to Have
TypeScript.
Redis and caching.
RabbitMQ / Kafka or other message queues.
Docker.
AWS / Azure / GCP.
CI/CD pipelines.
Microservices architecture.
