Key Responsibilities
Equipment Operation: Operate, monitor, and control pumps, motors, blowers, chemical feeders, filters, and sludge digesters.
Water Quality Testing: Collect wastewater samples, conduct basic tests (e.g., pH, MLSS, dissolved oxygen), and adjust treatment processes based on the results these test Co ordinate with outside lab
Routine Maintenance: Perform scheduled inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs on machinery.
Documentation: Maintain accurate daily log sheets, track chemical consumption, record water meter readings, and document equipment performance.
Compliance: Ensure the treated effluent meets the standards set by governing environmental boards.
Safety & Teamwork: Strictly follow occupational safety standards, maintain a clean workspace, and report major mechanical issues to the site supervisor.
Typical Requirements & Qualifications
Education: ITI (Fitter, Electrician, Plumber) or a Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.
Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in operating STPs or similar wastewater treatment facilities.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
