Role & responsibilities
Programming & Optimization:
Create, test, and optimize part programs using COLLEGE, CYG, and advanced CAM interfaces.
Reduce cycle times while maintaining strict quality and dimensional tolerance limits.
Troubleshoot G-code/M-code issues directly on shop-floor systems.
Setting & Prove-Out:
Perform complete zero-set, tool offsets, and fixture/jig alignments on high-precision CNC machines.
Execute first-piece trial runs ("prove-outs") utilizing CNC CTC and TMC settings.
Select proper cutting tools, speeds, and feeds to maximize tool life and surface finish.
Quality, Process Control & Documentation:
Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T;).
Conduct in-process quality inspections using precision measuring instruments.
Implement shop-floor standards like 5S,
poka-yoke, and TPM.
Maintain process sheets, tool life logs, part drawings, and IATF/ISO quality audit tracking records.
Preferred candidate profile
Experience: 810 years dedicated to CNC programming/setting within an auto-precision components workplace.
Technical Competency: Deep proficiency in reading engineering blueprints and GD&T.;
System Knowledge: Hands-on command over COLLEGE, CYG, CNC CTC, and TMC programming/control features.
Documentation Skills: Robust track record in managing shop-floor quality paperwork and process sheets.
