Role Description
The Reporter role is a full-time in office position based in Tiruchirappalli. The Reporter will be responsible for identifying newsworthy stories, conducting interviews, verifying information, and producing clear, accurate, and engaging news content on a daily basis. This role includes covering local events, press conferences, and community issues, as well as developing story ideas and collaborating with editors and multimedia teams to package content for various platforms. The Reporter will be expected to meet deadlines, maintain ethical reporting standards,



and adapt storytelling to both digital and traditional formats as needed.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess solid Reporting and News Writing skills for producing accurate and timely stories.
Candidates should possess effective Communication and Writing skills for interviews, source development, and clear storytelling.
Candidates should possess basic Multimedia skills for working with photos, video, or audio in support of their reporting.
Candidates should have excellent command of written and spoken English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
Candidates should demonstrate strong news judgment, attention to detail, and adherence to ethical journalism standards.
Candidates should be comfortable working in office in Tiruchirappalli, collaborating with editorial teams, and meeting tight deadlines.
A bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferr
