Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Sociology (mandatory)
B.Ed. (mandatory)
Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience at the senior secondary level

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured Sociology lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum for senior secondary classes.
Develop lesson plans, case studies, teaching aids, projects, and assessments suited to diverse learning needs.
Promote conceptual clarity, critical thinking,



and the application of sociological theories to real-life social situations.
Encourage students to analyse social institutions, cultural patterns, social change, inequality, and contemporary issues.
Conduct regular formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and ensure board examination readiness.
Provide academic support, mentoring, and individual guidance to students requiring additional assistance.
Facilitate classroom discussions, debates, projects, field-based activities, and research-oriented assignments.
Encourage students to connect sociological concepts with current affairs and everyday social experiences.
Maintain accurate academic records and contribute to report card preparation.
Create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes empathy, social awareness, respect for diverse perspectives, and intellectual curiosity.
Actively participate in school events, academic meetings, workshops, and qualified
