Key Responsibilities
Conduct dental examinations and diagnose oral health conditions in children.
Provide preventive dental care, including fluoride applications, sealants, and oral hygiene education.
Perform restorative procedures such as fillings, pulpotomies, and stainless-steel crowns.
Manage dental emergencies and dental trauma in pediatric patients.
Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
Provide early orthodontic assessment and appropriate referrals when required.
Manage anxious or uncooperative children using appropriate behavior-management techniques.
Provide dental treatment under sedation or general anesthesia when appropriately trained and indicated.
Educate parents and caregivers about oral hygiene, diet, and preventive dental care.
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
Follow infection-control, safety,



and qualified standards.
Coordinate care with orthodontists, oral surgeons, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals when necessary.

Qualifications
BDS degree from a recognized institution.
MDS in Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry / Pedodontics preferred or required depending on the position.
