Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI +DAX with 7-9years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have robust expertise in Power BI, data modeling, DAX, SQL, and data visualization to transform business data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
Gather and understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
Create and optimize data models, datasets, and report performance.
Develop complex calculations using DAX and Power Query (M Language).
Connect Power BI to multiple data sources including SQL Server, Excel, APIs, Azure, and other databases.
Implement data validation and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Schedule report refreshes and manage Power BI Service environments.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to deliver reporting solutions.
Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize existing reports and dashboards.




Maintain documentation and follow BI development best practices.

Required Skills

Technical Skills
Solid experience with Microsoft Power BI
Expertise in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
Proficiency in Power Query and M Language
Robust SQL querying and database skills
Experience in Data Modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema)
Knowledge of ETL processes and data transformation
Experience with Power BI Service, Gateway, Workspaces, and Row-Level Security (RLS)
Understanding of data warehousing concepts
Experience with Excel and advanced reporting techniques

Preferred Skills
Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
Knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics
Exposure to Databricks
Experience with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS
Basic understanding of Python or R for analytics
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
