Robust experience in International Direct Tax and Withholding Tax (WHT) compliance across APAC jurisdictions, with sound knowledge of local tax regulations, tax treaties, and regulatory requirements
Ability to independently manage the end-to-end monthly tax compliance process, including preparation of tax workings, coordination with internal reviewers, and liaison with external tax advisors/agents for timely filing.
Experience in balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy and audit readiness of tax-related accounts.
Quick learner with the ability to adapt to current processes and systems. Robust team player who can provide backup support and contribute effectively during peak workloads.
Experience supporting transition or migration projects, including development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Demonstrated ownership of tax compliance for assigned countries/legal entities, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with finance teams, business partners, external advisors.
