Qualification & Experience
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or relevant Engineering discipline.
Minimum 3 years experience with B.E./B.Tech or 5 years with Diploma in Safety Engineering.
Experience in Metro, Railway, Elevated Structures, Underground Metro, Depot, Flyover, Bridge, or other major infrastructure projects preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor all site safety activities.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with HSE policies, statutory requirements, and project safety standards.




Monitor contractor safety practices and work permits.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety training, and emergency preparedness activities.
Investigate incidents/near misses and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure proper use of PPE and secure working practices at site.
Maintain safety records, reports, checklists, and documentation.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to resolve safety issues.

Desired Skills
Robust knowledge of construction safety practices and HSE standards.
Valuable communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
Ability to identify hazards and implement preventive measures.
Knowledge of Permit-to-Work, work-at-height, excavation, lifting, and confined-space safety.
