About the Role

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist with hands-on experience in US payroll processing. The ideal candidate should have experience managing end-to-end payroll operations, payroll compliance, employee records, statutory deductions, payroll reconciliations, and payroll reporting while ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for US-based clients/entities.
Process payroll accurately in accordance with payroll calendars and applicable statutory requirements.
Validate employee master data, timesheets, leave records, and payroll inputs.
Calculate salaries, overtime, bonuses, commissions, reimbursements, and statutory deductions.
Process recent hires, employee changes, terminations, and final settlements.
Perform payroll reconciliations and investigate payroll discrepancies.
Support payroll-related journal entries and month-end reconciliation activities.




Coordinate with HR, Finance, employees, and clients to resolve payroll-related queries.
Prepare payroll reports and statutory reports as required.
Maintain accurate payroll records and supporting documentation.
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local payroll requirements.
Support internal and external payroll audits.
Identify prospects to improve payroll processes, controls, and operational efficiency.

Key Software

Hands-on experience with one or more of the following is preferred:
ADP
Gusto

Experience with other US payroll, HRMS, or payroll processing platforms will also be considered.
