Job Description:
Handle plant-level costing, product costing and cost analysis.
Prepare standard cost, actual cost and variance analysis for products/processes.
Analyse material, labour, power, fuel, overhead and conversion costs.
Monitor production cost, process losses, wastage, yield and manufacturing efficiencies.
Prepare MIS reports, cost sheets, production cost statements and profitability analysis.
Conduct monthly cost closing and reconciliation with Finance, Production and Stores.
Identify cost overruns, leakages and cost-saving prospects at plant level.
Analyse RM consumption vs. standards/BOM and investigate variances.
Support budgeting, forecasting and annual operating plan for manufacturing operations.
Track inventory valuation, WIP, finished goods and slow/non-moving inventory.
Develop product-wise / process-wise profitability analysis.
Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, PPC and Finance teams for accurate costing data.
Support management in pricing decisions and cost optimization initiatives.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of costing data in ERP/SAP.
