Assist faculty members in conducting Petroleum Engineering laboratory sessions.
Prepare laboratory equipment, instruments, samples, chemicals, and experimental setups.
Demonstrate laboratory experiments and guide students in performing practical work.
Support students in laboratory assignments, mini-projects, and final-year projects.
Operate and maintain petroleum engineering laboratory equipment and instruments.
Perform basic troubleshooting and coordinate equipment maintenance and calibration.
Maintain laboratory records, equipment registers, inventory, calibration records, and consumable records.
Ensure availability and proper storage of laboratory materials, chemicals, samples, and equipment.
Maintain laboratory cleanliness, discipline, and safety standards.
Ensure students follow appropriate PPE and laboratory safety procedures.
Assist faculty during practical examinations, assessments, workshops, and demonstrations.
Support research activities and laboratory testing conducted by the department.
Coordinate with faculty and technical/maintenance teams for laboratory requirements.
Follow university policies and standard laboratory operating procedures.
