We are seeking a skilled and motivated CAD Engineer to become an integral part of our Research & Development team within the precision hand tool manufacturing industry. This role is pivotal in advancing our capabilities in developing high-precision hand tools, including spanners, ratchets, and associated components. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting prototype development, process improvements, and recent product introductions, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of durability and dimensional accuracy.

\Key Responsibilities:\
\CAD/CAM Programming:\ Develop and optimize CNC programs using advanced CAM software to ensure productive and accurate machining of high-precision hand tools.
\Toolpath Optimization:\ Analyze and refine toolpaths to enhance machining efficiency, reduce cycle times, and improve product quality.
\Fixture and Jig Design:\ Design and implement effective fixtures and jigs to support the machining process, ensuring stability and precision during operations.




\Machining Tolerances:\ Collaborate with the engineering team to define and achieve exact machining tolerances, ensuring products meet stringent quality standards.
\Tooling Selection:\ Select appropriate cutting tools and materials to optimize machining performance and extend tool life.
\Prototype Development:\ Assist in the development and machining of prototypes, facilitating rapid prototyping and design validation.
\Process Improvements:\ Identify and implement process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
\New Product Introductions:\ Support the introduction of new products by developing and refining CNC programs and machining processes.
\3D Printing/Additive Manufacturing:\ Utilize 3D printing technologies to support rapid prototyping and validate design concepts during the product development cycle.
