Role & responsibilities
Manage Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable activities, including bill passing for inward/outward materials, transporters, service bills, and advance settlements.
Perform vendor reconciliation and prepare vendor balance reports.
Reconcile receiving inventory accounts, AP-related accounts, and GL/control accounts.
Prepare monthly and annual trial balance and support financial closing activities.
Prepare closing stock statements for finished goods, stores, and spares.
Handle Inter-Unit / Inter-SBU and GL account reconciliations.
Prepare provisions and salary-related JVs required for monthly/annual closing.
Manage Fixed Asset Register, depreciation computation, and accounting.
Maintain records related to Capital Work in Progress (CWIP).
Ensure GST compliance, including GST credit reconciliation and timely filing of GST returns.
Handle TDS and other statutory dues, including computation, reconciliation, and timely payment.
Maintain proper statutory records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Generate scrap invoices and coordinate customer review.
Support monthly/annual account closing with a solid focus on accuracy and timeliness.
Work effectively with internal departments, vendors, customers, and statutory authorities.
Required Skills
Robust knowledge of Accounts Payable & Receivable
Positive understanding of GST, TDS and indirect taxation
Expertise in bank/vendor/GL reconciliations
Experience in monthly & annual financial closing
Knowledge of Fixed Assets and depreciation
Working knowledge of ERP systems
Positive command of MS Excel / MS Office
Strong analytical, communication and coordination skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
