L2 Support Engineer:
What You Will Be Doing
Provide L2 application support for SDLC infrastructure and DevOps toolchains.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across Linux-based distributed environments.
Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines, build and deployment processes.
Manage and troubleshoot DevOps dependencies including code repositories, builds, packages, and distribution mechanisms.
Support configuration management platforms such as Chef, Puppet, and Ansible.
Work with job scheduling tools such as AutoSys and CRON.
Support web/application servers including Apache and Tomcat.
Manage and troubleshoot databases and cloud environments (public/private cloud).
Collaborate with global teams to ensure platform stability and operational excellence.
Participate in rotational shift support and handle multiple priorities in a quick-paced setting.
Continuously identify opportunities for operational improvement and automation.
What Are We Looking For
Education & Experience
oBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems,
or related field.
o3 to 8 years of experience supporting SDLC, DevOps platforms, and Linux environments.
Technical Skills
oStrong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
oProficiency in scripting/development using Java or Python.
oExperience with:
oAutoSys, CRON, or other job scheduling systems
oNIS
oApache and Tomcat
oRelational databases (DB2, MS SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase)
oPublic and Private Cloud platforms (preferably AWS, with exposure to cloud-hosted application and DevOps settings)
oWorking knowledge of modern AI-assisted software development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools).
oStrong understanding of:
SDLC processes
Version control tools (CVS, SVN, Git)
Build and deployment tools (Maven, GitLab, Jenkins, Docker)
Knowledge of DevOps ecosystem including code reviews, build management, repositories, packaging, a
