Job Purpose

To ensure maximum uptime and efficiency of injection moulding machines, auxiliary equipment, utilities, and plant infrastructure through preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities
Machine Maintenance
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of injection moulding machines.
Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical issues.
Ensure minimum machine downtime and quick restoration of production equipment.
Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements.
Utility Maintenance
Maintain utilities such as air compressors, chillers, cooling towers, DG sets, transformers, and electrical panels.
Ensure uninterrupted supply of power, compressed air, and cooling systems.
Preventive Maintenance
Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and machine history cards.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring breakdowns.




Tool & Equipment Support
Coordinate with production and tool room teams for mould maintenance activities.
Monitor mould cooling, hydraulic circuits, and machine safety systems.
Support mould trials and current product development activities.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with plant safety standards and maintenance SOPs.
Implement Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance activities.
Support audits related to IATF, ISO, and customer requirements.

Preferred candidate profile :
Injection moulding machine maintenance.
Hydraulics and pneumatics.
Electrical troubleshooting and PLC basics.
Utility equipment maintenance.
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
TPM and 5S implementation.
MS Excel and maintenance reporting.
