Key Responsibilities
Assist consultants during surgical and OT procedures as required.
Conduct pre-operative assessment and ensure patients are medically prepared for procedures.
Monitor patients during and after procedures and identify any complications promptly.
Ensure proper post-operative monitoring and documentation.
Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, embryology/IVF and other clinical teams as required.
Ensure OT readiness, including availability of instruments, medicines, consumables and emergency equipment.
Follow strict infection-control, sterilization and OT safety protocols.
Maintain accurate patient records, case sheets, OT notes and medical documentation.
Handle basic emergency situations and escalate critical cases to the concerned consultant/senior doctor.
Ensure proper handover of patients and clinical information between shifts.
Monitor availability and proper use of OT drugs, consumables and equipment.
Support smooth coordination of scheduled procedures and OT activities.
Ensure compliance with hospital/center SOPs and medical standards.
