JD 1: Java Software Engineer

Experience: 3 to 6 years

Role Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Software Engineer with experience in Java, Python, REST APIs, automation, CI/CD and Agile delivery. The engineer will support TVAS remediation and related engineering activities by working on vulnerability fixes, release system improvements, automation tasks and integration support based on patterns defined by onshore technical leads.

Key Responsibilities
Work on vulnerability remediation, dependency upgrades, code fixes and validation activities.
Develop and maintain Java/Python-based services, scripts, utilities and API integrations.
Contribute to the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of scalable enterprise applications, platform services, and system integrations, with a focus on reliability, performance, and continuous improvement.
Follow approved engineering patterns and coding standards shared by technical leads.
Participate in sprint planning, development, testing, defect fixing and release validation.
Support CI/CD pipeline updates,



build checks and basic automation improvements.
Perform unit testing, API testing and integration validation for assigned work.
Collaborate with onshore and offshore team members to deliver sprint commitments.
Provide regular updates on progress, blockers and completion status in Agile tools.

Required Skills
3 to 5 years of software development experience.
Valuable hands-on experience in Java and Python.
Experience with REST API development and integration.
Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD and Agile delivery.
Exposure to automation development or scripting.
Basic understanding of secure coding and vulnerability remediation.
Valuable debugging, analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Skills
Exposure to DevSecOps practices.
Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps or similar tools.
Understanding of release engineering, build validation and deployment proces
