Job Purpose
Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) Milling VMC/ HMC/ Palnomiller machine.

Key Result Area
Maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, and maintaining equipment’s.

Key Responsibilities
Program Management: Create, load,



examine, and modify CNC programs to ensure productive machine runs.
Machine Setup: Set up tools and load materials onto CNC machines, including milling and Planomiller machines.
Planning & Interpretation: Study engineering drawings, specifications, machining parameters, and interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances.
Programming & Calibration: Enter instructions, set zero/reference points, configure tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches. Calculate requirements and prove part programs.
Operation & Verification: Load feed mechanisms, position stock, and verify settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces against standards.
Quality Assurance: Take exact measurements, detect malfunctions, troubleshoot processes, adjust / reprogram controls, sharpen / replace worn tools, and adhere to QA procedures.
