Job Title:Senior Accountant

Salary: 35,000 to 40,000

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards.
Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
Prepare and file tax returns and coordinate with tax consultants when required.
Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, and customer ledgers.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.
Monitor cash flow and prepare MIS reports for management.
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.




Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams regarding financial matters.
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or Accounting.
6+ years of relevant accounting experience.
Solid understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting.
Experience in GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software (such as Tally Prime, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books, or Microsoft Dynamics).
Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
