Job Description - Store Executive

Position Title: Store Executive

Department: Stores & Inventory

Reporting To: Store Manager / Plant Head

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
Issue materials to production and other departments as per approved requisitions.
Maintain accurate stock records and inventory transactions.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory.
Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation.

Store Operations
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and identification of materials.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization within the store area.
Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and inventory control procedures.
Manage material movement and documentation efficiently.
Ensure proper handling and preservation of materials.

Documentation & Reporting
Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note), stock registers, issue records, and inventory reports.




Update inventory records in ERP or inventory management systems.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
Coordinate with the purchase, production, and accounts departments for inventory-related activities.

Compliance & Coordination
Ensure adherence to company policies and inventory control procedures.
Support internal and external audits related to inventory and stores.
Coordinate with vendors and transporters for material receipt and dispatch activities.
Assist management in improving store processes and inventory accuracy.

Required Skills:
Knowledge of inventory management and store operations.
Experience with ERP software, inventory systems, and MS Excel.
Understanding of stock control procedures and material handling.
Valuable documentation and record-keeping skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
Solid organizational and time management skills.
