Reporting to the SaaS Sales Manager / Head of Sales, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for top-of-funnel sales activities including lead generation, qualification, and prospect nurturing for ShipDelights SaaS based Delivery experience platform. This role focuses on identifying potential customers, initiating outreach, educating them on product offerings, and converting early interest into high-quality sales-qualified leads (SQLs) for Account Executives.

Responsible
Identify, research, and generate current leads through outbound channels (calls, LinkedIn, email campaign, events).
Qualify inbound leads based on ICP and buyer persona.
Engage prospects via structured messaging frameworks and outreach cadences.
Clearly articulate key value propositions and platform capabilities.
Book product demos and discovery call for Account Executives / BDRs.
Maintain daily activity logs and lead status within CRM.
Support targeted outbound campaigns and marketing initiatives.
Accountable
Volume and quality of Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
Outreach targets (calls, emails, LinkedIn touchpoints).
CRM hygiene and timely updating of prospect data.
Demo/meeting scheduling for sales team.
Consulted
Work with Marketing for campaigns, lead lists, and outreach automation.
Consult Product teams to understand current features and messaging alignment.
Coordinate with Customer Success for references and client stories.
Informed
Keep SaaS Sales Manager informed of prospecting metrics and pipeline health.
Notify relevant sales owners of priority opportunities or qualification outcomes.
