An X-ray technician (radiologic technologist) produces diagnostic medical images by positioning patients, operating, and maintaining X-ray equipment while adhering to strict safety protocols. They work closely with radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging, patient comfort, and accurate, shielded radiation exposure.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Care: Preparing patients for imaging by explaining procedures, answering questions, and providing lead shielding for safety.
Imaging Procedures: Positioning patients precisely, adjusting equipment, and capturing diagnostic-quality X-rays as ordered by doctors.
Equipment Maintenance: Calibrating, cleaning, and troubleshooting X-ray machinery, while promptly reporting malfunctions.
Documentation: Maintaining accurate patient records and digital files (EMR)



and protecting sensitive information.
Safety Compliance: Adhering to the ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principle for radiation safety.

Key Qualifications
Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology or a related field.
Certification/Licensure: Certification from any respected council
Skills: Solid understanding of human anatomy, radiation safety, and medical imaging software.
Physical Requirements:Ability to stand for long periods and assist in lifting or moving patients.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
