Job Summary

Key Responsibilities1. Business Development & Sales
Identify and develop current business opportunities in the freight forwarding and logistics sector.
Generate current leads through market visits, references, networking, industry databases, and other sources.
Identify potential importers, exporters, manufacturers, traders, distributors, and corporate customers.
Develop and maintain a solid customer pipeline and regularly follow up on prospective customers.
Conduct customer visits and understand their import, export, freight, and logistics requirements.
Promote the company's Air Freight, Sea Freight, Customs Clearance, Transportation, and other logistics services.
Prepare and submit competitive quotations in coordination with the Pricing and Operations teams.
Negotiate rates and commercial terms with customers within approved company guidelines.
Convert enquiries and quotations into confirmed business.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and GP targets.
Customer Relationship Management




Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Regularly meet customers to understand their business requirements and upcoming shipments.
Identify opportunities for repeat business, cross-selling, and up-selling.
Handle customer queries and coordinate with internal teams for timely resolution.
Collect customer feedback and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Monitor customer accounts and identify opportunities to increase business volume.
Freight Forwarding Coordination
Understand customer requirements related to Import and Export shipments.
Coordinate with Operations, Pricing, Documentation, Customs Clearance, and Transportation teams.
Obtain freight rates from shipping lines, airlines, agents, and other service providers as required.
Ensure quotations are submitted to customers accurately and within the required timeline.
