Assistant Manager (Intern)

About the Role
Intech Online is the underground OFC network infrastructure subcontractor for the Thane City CCTV Surveillance Project (DGP Office, Maharashtra State), working under System Integrator Matrix Smart Technologies. We're looking for an Assistant Manager Intern to support day-to-day project coordination, data analysis, and documentation across our OFC deployment, commercial tracking, and stakeholder communication workstreams.

Key Responsibilities
GIS/KMZ Data Analysis:Assist in parsing and analyzing Google Earth KMZ/KML files to track OFC route lengths across categories (Open Trenching, Micro Trenching + HDD, Overhead, Pending Work) across Zones 1, 2, 4, and 5
Commercial Tracking:Maintain trackers for third-party damage claims, AMC billing status, PO reconciliation, and overhead-to-underground conversion costs
Documentation Support:Draft and format status reports, MoM (Minutes of Meeting) records, and Chairman-level submissions in data-centric, scannable formats




Stakeholder Coordination:Support communication with client’s representatives and internal teams; track pending items and follow-ups
Master Data Management:Help maintain and update police station, camera, and pole inventory data in Excel
Field/Site Support:Occasional coordination with field teams for on-ground clarification and data verification

Required Skills:
MS Excel:Proficiency in formulas, pivot tables, and data cleaning
GIS Basics:Basic understanding of GIS concepts (KMZ/KML files, Google Earth) — training will be provided
Robust written communication skills (English; Marathi/Hindi a plus)
Attention to detail — ability to catch data inconsistencies and reconcile duplicate entries
Comfortable working with structured/tabular data and status trackers

Preferred (Positive to Have)
Python:Familiarity with basic scripting for data processing
Prior exposure to infrastructure, telecom, or government project settings
Engineering background (B.T
