Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Source and procure steel products, including TMT bars, structural steel, MS pipes, sheets, coils, plates, and related materials at competitive prices.
Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with steel manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
Raise purchase orders and monitor order execution until material receipt.
Coordinate transportation, dispatches, and logistics activities to ensure timely deliveries.
Track steel market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier performance.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing carrying costs.
Maintain accurate procurement, stock, dispatch,



and logistics records.
Coordinate with sales, warehouse, accounts, and operations teams for seamless material flow.
Analyze procurement and logistics costs and identify opportunities for savings and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and documentation requirements.
