Roles & Responsibilities
Review, verify, and approve all General Ledger (GL) postings in Tally to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Act as the checker for accounting entries and maintain solid internal financial controls.
Ensure proper ledger maintenance and monitor ledger hygiene across all accounting heads.
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
Perform and oversee bank, vendor, customer, inter-company, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Identify, investigate, and resolve accounting discrepancies and unreconciled items on a timely basis.
Support preparation of monthly Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheet schedules, cash flow reports, and other financial reports.
Generate periodic MIS reports and dashboards for management review.
Analyze financial performance, identify variances, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
Coordinate with treasury, operations, compliance,



and finance teams to ensure accurate accounting and reporting.
Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and regulatory reporting requirements.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, statutory regulations, and audit requirements.
Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and strengthening of financial controls.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field. CA, CMA, or equivalent qualification preferred but not mandatory.
2+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliations, preferably in NBFC, BFSI, or financial services industry.
Mandatory: Excellent hands-on expertise in Tally (advanced level).
Solid understanding of General Ledger accounting, financial statements, and accounting principles.
Proven experience in month-end and year-end closures.
