Job Title: Store Accountant

Job Summary:

The Store Accountant is responsible for managing financial transactions, tracking inventory, and maintaining accurate records for the store. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the store.
Record daily sales, expenses, and other financial transactions.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in stock records.
Reconcile physical stock with system records regularly.
Budget Monitoring:
Assist in the preparation of the store budget.
Monitor actual performance against the budget and report variances.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
Provide timely financial information to management as required.
Cash Handling:
Oversee cash transactions and maintain an organized and secure cash handling process.
Reconcile cash registers and bank deposits.




Audit Assistance:
Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Vendor Relations:
Coordinate with vendors for invoicing and payment reconciliation.
Resolve any discrepancies with suppliers regarding billing and payments.
Month-End Closing:
Assist in the month-end closing process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Ad Hoc Reporting:
Generate ad hoc financial reports as requested by management.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Store Accountant or similar role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
