Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Contract Management skilled with a Civil Engineering background to manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle for infrastructure and construction projects. The role covers pre-tendering, tendering, contract award, post-award administration, claims, variations, and contractual governance.
Key Responsibilities
Review project packaging strategies including item-rate, lump-sum, EPC, hybrid and turnkey contracts.
Prepare/review tender documents including GCC, SCC, BOQ, specifications and pre-qualification criteria.
Identify contractual risks, scope gaps, liabilities and commercial exposures.
Support cost estimation, benchmarking, rate analysis and vendor pre-qualification.
Manage RFQ/RFP processes, pre-bid queries and bidder clarifications.
Support techno-commercial evaluation, negotiations and award recommendations.
Review final contracts, ensuring alignment with negotiated terms and approvals.
Assess key clauses covering LD, indemnity, insurance and payment terms.
Manage post-award activities including variations, change orders, EOT, non-tendered items and amendments.
Draft contractual notices, claims, responses and other formal correspondence.
Support claims evaluation, negotiations, dispute avoidance and resolution.
Maintain complete contractual documentation for governance and audit requirements.
Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; PG in Construction/Contract Management preferred.
11–14 years of relevant infrastructure/construction contract experience.
Robust exposure to EPC, turnkey, lump-sum and item-rate contracts.
Expertise in tendering, contract administration, variations and claims management.
Robust commercial, negotiation, analytical and stakeholder-management skills.
Knowledge of CLM/ERP systems; SAP preferred.
Excellent written and verbal English communication.
