Heavy Truck Driver Responsibilities
Operate heavy trucks safely to transport goods over short and long distances.
Load, secure, and unload cargo when required.
Inspect the vehicle before and after trips to ensure it is roadworthy.
Follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Plan routes and ensure timely deliveries.
Maintain trip logs, fuel records, and delivery documents.
Report vehicle defects, accidents, or delays to the transport manager.
Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks, such as checking tires, brakes, oil, and lights.
Ensure cargo is properly secured to prevent damage during transit.
Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status.
Keep the truck clean and maintain required documentation,



including permits and licenses.
Follow procedures for hazardous or special cargo, if applicable.

Required Skills
Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
Secure driving practices.
Knowledge of traffic rules and transport regulations.
Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
Time management and route planning.
Valuable communication skills.
Ability to handle long-distance travel and meet delivery schedules.
Knowledge of GPS and navigation systems.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹30,122.61 per month
