Ensure implementation of Health, Safety & Setting (HSE) policies at project sites.
Conduct daily safety inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.
Ensure proper use of PPE and secure working practices.
Monitor working at height, electrical work, lifting/crane operations, excavation, and construction activities.
Conduct safety inductions and training for workers and subcontractors.
Report and investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.
Maintain HSE records, checklists, and statutory compliance documents.
Ensure environmental compliance, housekeeping, waste management, and emergency preparedness.
Coordinate with project teams and contractors to maintain a safe working environment.Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile
Diploma/Degree in Safety Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
25 years of HSE/Safety experience,



preferably in Solar PV, Wind Energy, EPC, infrastructure, or construction projects.
Robust knowledge of HSE standards, risk assessment, JSA/JHA, PTW, toolbox talks, site inspections, and incident investigation.
Experience in solar plant / wind farm construction and installation activities is preferred.
Knowledge of safety requirements for working at height, electrical works, lifting & rigging, cranes, excavation, scaffolding, and heavy equipment.
Experience with solar module installation, inverter/transformer areas, cable laying, electrical testing, and commissioning safety will be an advantage.
For wind projects, experience with wind turbine erection, tower work, nacelle/hub activities, lifting operations, and work at height is preferred.
