An F&B; (Food & Beverage) Steward is responsible for supporting restaurant, hotel, banquet, or catering operations by ensuring guests receive efficient and qualified food and beverage service.

Key Responsibilities of an F&B; Steward1. Guest Service
Welcome and seat guests politely.
Present menus and explain menu items when required.
Take food and beverage orders accurately.
Serve food and drinks according to service standards.
Respond to guest requests and resolve minor complaints professionally.
Table Setup and Maintenance
Prepare tables with cutlery, glassware, napkins, and condiments.
Ensure tables are clean and properly arranged before service.
Clear used dishes and reset tables promptly.
Food and Beverage Service
Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for timely order delivery.
Serve meals and beverages following hygiene and safety standards.
Monitor guest satisfaction during dining.
Cleanliness and Hygiene
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, and equipment.
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.




Ensure proper handling of utensils, crockery, and glassware.
Inventory and Supplies
Check stock levels of service items and report shortages.
Assist in replenishing supplies such as napkins, cutlery, and beverages.
Help with storage and handling of food and beverage items.
Team Coordination
Work closely with chefs, bartenders, supervisors, and other service staff.
Assist during banquets, events, and special functions.
Attend training sessions and follow company standards.
