Job Title: IT Trainer – Underprivileged Community

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated IT Trainer to empower individuals from underprivileged communities by providing basic to intermediate computer education. The trainer will be responsible for delivering practical, job-oriented training that enhances digital literacy and improves employability.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct training sessions on basic computer skills (MS Office, Internet usage, Email, etc.)
Teach fundamental IT concepts such as hardware, software, and digital tools
Develop and deliver easy-to-understand training materials suited for beginners
Assess students’ learning progress and provide continuous feedback
Support students in building resumes and preparing for basic IT-related job roles
Maintain attendance & batch records and training reports




Ensure proper usage and maintenance of computer lab equipment
Encourage participation and create an inclusive learning setting

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Basic to intermediate knowledge of computers and IT applications
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Positive communication and teaching skills
Ability to simplify technical concepts for beginners
Patience and empathy while working with learners from diverse backgrounds
Graduate or diploma in IT/Computer Science (preferred)

Preferred Experience:
Prior experience in teaching or training
Experience working with NGOs or community-based programs is an advantage
