Description

We are seeking a skilled Oracle OGL Support Engineer with 3–6 years of experience in Oracle database technologies and replication/logging services. The candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting Oracle General Ledger (OGL) environments, along with database administration activities to ensure high availability, performance, and data integrity.

The Oracle Apps DBA provides technical and functional support for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), including installation, configuration, patching, cloning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. They act as the bridge between application teams and database infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Application Tier Administration
Start/stop all EBS services
Manage WebLogic and managed servers
Apache/OHS configuration
Forms and Reports services management
Concurrent Manager administration
OPP (Output Post Processor) troubleshooting




Cache clean-up and session management
Patching & Upgrades

Apply EBS patches using

Technology stack upgrades
Java/JDK updates
SSL certificate renewals
Clone settings

Middleware Administration
WebLogic administration
JVM tuning
Managed server performance tuning
Keystore/truststore management
Analyze request logs/output

OPP memory and performance tuning

Linux / OS Tasks
Shell scripting
Cron job management
File system clean-up

Qualifications

Experience Range: 3 to 6 Years

Qualification: MCA/MTech/BTech
