Key Responsibilities
Procure raw materials, consumables, engineering items, mechanical/electrical spares, tools and maintenance materials as per plant requirements.
Obtain quotations from vendors, prepare comparative statements, analyse rates and negotiate price, payment terms and delivery schedules.
Ensure procurement at the right quality, right quantity, right price and right time.
Follow up regularly with vendors to ensure timely delivery and avoid production stoppages due to material shortages.
Coordinate with Production, Stores, Maintenance, Quality, Accounts and other departments for procurement requirements.
Monitor pending purchase orders and maintain an updated PO/Material Delivery Status.
Resolve vendor-related issues concerning quality, quantity, delivery, pricing and documentation.
Maintain vendor database, quotations, purchase orders,



rate contracts and other procurement records.
Coordinate with Stores and Accounts for GRN, invoice verification and payment-related issues.
Monitor material consumption and stock levels in coordination with Stores to avoid stock-outs as well as unnecessary inventory.
Prepare regular purchase MIS, pending PO reports, cost comparison and vendor performance reports.
Visit suppliers/vendors when required for vendor development, negotiations or resolving material-related issues.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience
Manufacturing engineering: 3 years (Preferred)
