The Role

We're looking for a hands-on Sales & Growth Executive who can wear multiple hats — bring new traders onto the platform, keep existing customers happy and active, and help create the marketing material that supports both. This is an early-stage role with real ownership and direct access to the founder. If you want a narrow, well-defined lane, this isn't it. What You'll Do
Reach out to metal traders, stockists, and suppliers to onboard them onto the platform — via calls, WhatsApp, and in-person meetings in the Mumbai metal market
Build and maintain robust relationships with existing users: check in, gather feedback, resolve concerns, and keep them active
Create simple, clean marketing posters and promotional material (WhatsApp creatives, announcements, offers)
Represent theMetalMandi to the trade community and act as the bridge between users and the product team
Track outreach,



conversions, and customer feedback, and report on what's working

What We're Looking For
Strong communication and relationship-building skills in Hindi and English (Gujarati or Marathi a plus for the Mumbai market)
Comfort with direct sales and cold outreach — you're not shy about picking up the phone or walking into a shop
Basic design ability with tools like Canva (you don't need to be a skilled designer, but you should be able to make a clean poster)
Self-driven, organized, and comfortable in a fast-moving startup with limited hand-holding
Familiarity with the metal or steel trade or B2B commodity sales is a robust plus

Nice to Have
An existing network in the metal, steel, or industrial trading community
Experience in early-stage startups or marketplace businesses
