Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced South Indian Breakfast Head Chef to lead the breakfast kitchen operations. The candidate should have strong knowledge of traditional South Indian cuisine, team handling skills, menu planning, food quality control, and kitchen management. The chef will be responsible for preparing authentic breakfast dishes while maintaining hygiene, taste consistency, and timely service.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and supervise South Indian breakfast dishes such as idli, dosa, vada, pongal, upma, appam, uttapam, poori, chutneys, and sambar.
Manage daily kitchen operations during breakfast service.
Ensure food quality, taste consistency, and presentation standards.
Train and supervise junior chefs, cooks, and kitchen helpers.
Plan breakfast menus and introduce new dishes when required.
Monitor food stock, inventory, and kitchen supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards as per food safety regulations.
Control food cost and minimize wastage.




Coordinate with purchase and service teams for smooth kitchen operations.
Ensure timely preparation and service during peak hours.

Ability to work under pressure during busy service hours.

Knowledge of kitchen inventory and stock management.

Qualifications
Diploma or certification in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts preferred.
5+ years of experience in South Indian cuisine.
Previous experience as Head Chef or Senior Breakfast Chef preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
