About the Role

Linkup Social is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can turn raw footage into engaging, high-quality content for social media and digital campaigns.

You will primarily work on Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, social media ads, talking-head content, and brand videos.

The ideal candidate should understand storytelling, pacing, hooks, captions, B-roll, sound design, and viewer retention.

What You’ll Do
Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form videos.
Create social media ads, promotional videos, and talking-head content.
Add captions, subtitles, B-roll, transitions, graphics, and text animations.
Improve pacing, storytelling, hooks, and overall viewer retention.
Perform basic audio cleanup, sound design, color correction, and grading.
Repurpose long-form content into short-form videos.
Optimize videos for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Work closely with content writers and social media managers.
Stay updated with current video editing and social media trends.

What We’re Looking For
Strong understanding of short-form and social media video editing.
Positive sense of storytelling, pacing, music, B-roll,



and visual flow.
Ability to create polished videos from raw footage and basic briefs.
Robust attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Comfortable working on multiple projects and taking creative feedback.
