Role Overview
TCS is hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist for a global healthcare client. This role is part of the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) function and focuses on medical billing, claims processing, and insurance follow-ups.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in medical billing, claims lifecycle, and AR follow-ups, along with robust analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Claims & Billing Management
Prepare, review, and submit medical claims (electronic & paper) to insurance providers
Ensure accuracy of billing data and supporting documentation
Verify patient insurance eligibility and perks
Accounts Receivable & Collections
Follow up on unpaid, denied, or rejected claims within TAT
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payments
Work closely with insurance companies for claim resolution
Denials & Appeals
Analyze denied claims and initiate appeals with proper documentation
Identify root causes and implement corrective actions
Payment Processing & Reconciliation
Post payments and ensure accuracy in financial records
Review insurance payments for completeness and compliance
Customer & Stakeholder Interaction
Assist patients with billing queries and payment plans
Respond to client, vendor, and internal stakeholder requests
Compliance & Documentation
Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Follow internal financial controls and standard operating procedures
Required Qualifications
Graduate (Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, or related field preferred)
2+ years of experience in Medical Billing / Revenue Cycle Management
Robust understanding of Accounts Receivable processes
