We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Geography Lecturer to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lectures, preparing course materials, assessing student performance, and fostering a stimulating learning setting. The ideal candidate should have robust subject expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lectures in Geography.
Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools.
Evaluate student performance through assignments, examinations, and presentations.
Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.
Encourage critical thinking, research, and practical application of geographical concepts.
Stay updated with developments in Geography and incorporate current knowledge into teaching.
Participate in curriculum development and academic quality assurance activities.
Maintain accurate academic records and submit reports as required.




Contribute to departmental meetings, workshops, seminars, and other institutional activities.

Qualifications
Master's degree in Geography (NET/SET/Ph.D. preferred as per institutional or regulatory requirements).
Previous teaching experience at the college or university level is preferred.
Strong knowledge of physical, human, environmental, and regional geography.
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and learning management systems.
