Responsible for ensuring the quality of lighter components and finished products through inspection, testing, process control, and implementation of quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect incoming materials, components, in-process and finished lighters.
Monitor assembly processes and identify quality defects.
Conduct functional, visual and safety-related quality checks.
Maintain inspection reports, rejection records and quality documentation.
Identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with Production and Purchase teams to resolve quality issues.
Ensure compliance with defined SOPs, quality standards and safety requirements.
Monitor rejection, rework and defect rates and prepare quality MIS.
Support continuous improvement and process quality initiatives.
Requirements
Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Quality or related field.
1–3 years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing/assembly.
Experience in lighter, small-component, plastic, metal or consumer-product assembly will be preferred.
Good knowledge of inspection methods, quality tools and documentation.
Solid attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
