Job Description

We are looking for a Design Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in mechanical design and manufacturing. Candidates with experience in the shock absorber / automotive industry will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical components, jigs, fixtures, and tooling.
Prepare and modify 2D drawings and 3D models.
Work on SolidWorks and AutoCAD for design and drafting.
Understand manufacturing processes and ensure designs are production-friendly.
Coordinate with production, quality, and suppliers for design-related activities.
Support new product development and engineering changes.
Prepare BOM, drawings, and other technical documentation.
Identify and resolve design and manufacturing issues.

Required Skills




Robust knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Knowledge of Jig & Fixture design.
Good understanding of manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of mechanical drawings, GD&T;, tolerances, and basic engineering principles.
Experience in the shock absorber / automotive industry will be an advantage.

Qualification
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

2–3 years of relevant experience. Candidates with higher experience and solid relevant knowledge may also be considered.
